How to exclude bunch of specific (newly) creating contacts from exchange 2007 GAL
Guys,We are about to do group migration (Domino to Exchange). Exchange requires a contact to be created for every member that is to be included in a distribution list and we will likely need to create a bunch of contacts because of the distribution list migration to Exchange. Please let me know, how to modify the GAL to exclude contacts that we want to exclude, then I need to create an additional address book that will contain only these additional specific contacts. We are having Exchange 2007.ThanksFunnyghost

You can create multiple GALs, but only one will show up for a client and you can not edit or delete the default GAL (the default GAL contains all the mail-enabled objects) :http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232101.aspx Managing Global Address ListsThink instead of creating an Address List for just those Contacts that will be a subset of the default GAL:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232119.aspxUnderstanding Address Lists
