How to enable multiple mails?

Dear,

One of my customers wants to receive a mail two times when he is in the to box and when he is part of a distribution list in the cc box.

Does anybody know how to configure this?

The reason for this, is that he has rules to move the mail to a specific folder when the distribution list is in cc.

Kind Regards

Nick

And is this going to create 2 mails?

One in his inbox and one in a custom directory when he is in cc?

Hi ,

Based on my knowledge exchange will trigger the duplicate deliver event for the above scenario .So you will be getting only one email at the destination mailbox.

No. What I meant is that you solve the issue with a smarter rule on the client.

1. user1 is part of a Distribution List, let's call it DL1

2. user1 has an Outlook rule named DL1-Rule that move all messages to DL1 in a folder called DL1-Folder

3. user1 wants to receive 2 emails when he/she is in the "TO:" field and in the "CC:" field there's DL1

User1 should modify the rule DL1-Rule so that it will move the email when his/her name is not in the "TO:" field

Hi, Nick Geoffroy.

Nithyanandham Singaravadivelu is right, user will receive only one email no matter how to create transport rule to copy or duplicate this email on server side.

I test in my lab with the following transport rule, user will just receive only one message.

Best Regards.
