How to determine if a bug in Exchange 2007 SP1 has been fixed or the status of when it will be fixed
We are on Exchange 2007 SP1, Windows 2003 R2and have a recurring error in our event log:
1. Error Code Unexpected error 0x80004005 occurred in "EcProcessVirusScanQueueItem" during virus scanning. bug with MicrosoftIt is my understanding from reading several sites this is a bug. How do I know when it will be fix? Do I need to report it?Thanks

What is the Event ID you are getting for this error?Check after installing Exchange 2007 SP1 Update Rollup 7, looks like this is resolved in UR7 as per below KB.Event ID 9874 is frequently logged on Exchange Server 2007 with Service Pack 1http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/952778/Amit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
