I have downloaded and installed the ADMX templates to give me the PowerPoint 2013 options in group policy. I have set the policy 'Personal templates path for PowerPoint' to enabled and set the location as \\server\folder that everyone has access too.

When i apply this policy to an OU and login as a user within that OU i get the following message. "Sorry we had trouble connecting to get templates and cant show them right now"

Why cant i see the templates in the location i have set in group policy? I want to be able to deploy a company template so everybody gets it via group policy. I have ran a gpresult /r and can see the appropriate policy is applying to my test user. I cna also see in the registry setting that the location is being set correctly.
