How to deploy WIM Image with different regional settings using SCCM
Hi All, I am currenlty building a OS deployment using SCCM. We have standard hardware but the image must be used within different continents. This means that settings like language and regional must be changed when deploying the wim image. I have created a wim image following the recommended steps and so far all fine. I have also createda different Task Sequence for a per site deployment. The task sequence uses different packages containing the Sysprep files inclusing a sysprep.inf file with the appropriate settings for the region. During the deployement process the sysprep file isn't used. I have looked on the net for days but i can't find anything so far how SCCM is injecting the sysrpep file into the image before it starts the sysprep process. I know where to set it up within the TS ( Apply Operating System, Using the option "use an unnattended or sysprep answer file for custom installation") but i don't seem to get it working. Is this the normal way for creating a custom OS installation, or is scripting more appropriate? Where can i check what goes wrong during the TS. Thanks you all for any advise. Rgds Marald

You might have better luck posting this in to a Windows forum or the SCCM forum: http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/default.aspx?ForumGroupID=92&SiteID=17
