How to copy an email sent to one address to other one?
Well, I may not be clear in the title. Here are the details: I need to make sure that any email that goes to xyz@domain.com should also go to abc@domain.com. And, as I'm working in a separate team than Exchange Team, we have access to only Active Directory Users and Computers. I was doing some research (forgive me, I'm not so good when it comes to Exchange) and found that we can do this through "Exchange Advanced Tab" in ADUC. But I dont know how. We have both the mailboxes configured in AD. Also, we are in server 2003 (including exchange) environment. Please help me out!! Thanks.CCNA, MCTS (Active Directory Configuration)

Go to Exchange Management Console, double click mailbox xyz@domain.com, go to Mail Flow Settings, double click "Delivery Options", check the box "forward to", and then browse the mailbox abc@domain.com, remember also check the box "Deliver message to both forwarding address and mailbox". Hope you're looking for that ..

There's no good (or should I say "easy") way to do this with Exchange 2003. Not knowing if "domain.com" is a domain that's managed by your Exchange organization or another organization doesn't help. Assuming that xyz@domain.com is assigned to a mailbox in your Exchange organization, you can create a new mailbox database and move that mailbox to it. Then enable journalization on the database and nominate adc@domain.com to receive all messages sent to or by mailboxes in the database. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

Hi Admin_XOR, In Exchange 2003, maybe you can achieve the goal by this way: User A xyz@domain.com User B abc@domain.com ADUC->Users->choose User A->Properties->Exchange General->Delivery Options-> choose “Forward to”( under Forwarding address) ->input the user who you want forward to (User B)->choose“Deliver message to both forwarding address and mailbox”->Ok->Apply->Ok After you do that, User B can get a copy for emails that send to User A. Hi, Yes, If both mailbox resides in same domain, then it is fine to set Forwarder as method described above. If both mailbox resides in different domain then first you have to crate external contact and the have to set Forwarder as method described above. Thanks, Vidyanand

Hi, Create an external contact of Domain A and enable journaling from Domain B such that mails sent from Domain B will be forwarded to Domain A contact. Regards, Sree
