How to connect Exchange 2003 via an external Outllok 2007 client?
Hello All, Now I became registered member of Microsoft Technet Community Forums. I hope I will get some suggestions from members. Our previous technician installed and configured Exchange Server 2003 on Windows Server 2003. Currently we configured the ActiveSync on iPhone using the parameters below: Mail Server: mail.mydomain.com Username: xxx Password: xxx Domain: domainname (currently it is: FLUP) SSL: Off Other Details: Local Domain Name: FLUP.local Exchange: exchange.FLUP.local E-mail: username@mydomain.com These settings are working fine. Unfortunately till today I am not able to connect to Exchange 2003 via an external Outlook 2007 client. Internal all is working fine. In internal we gave these parameters in Outllok 2007: Exchange Mail Server: exchange.FLUP.local Username: username@mydomain.com --> eventually replaced by "Username" Please note that there is no separation between front-end and back-end. Also the SSL is turned off. Both OMA, OWA and Exchange is configured. i.e., http://mail.mydomain.com/oma ; /owa ; /exchange Please help us in this scenario. We already tried to Bing it, nothing usefull links found. We hope we will expect solutions from these forums. Thanks you. - Srinath

But we are able to access Exchange Server 2003 through internal Outlook 2007 client. The Outlook Web Access (OWA), Outllok Mobile Access (OMA) and Exchange ActiveSync is enabled and working normally. Current Exchange Server details as per in IIS manager: Exadmin: \\.\BackOfficeStorage Exchange: \\.\BackOfficeStorage\mydomain.com\MBX Exchweb: C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\ExchWeb Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync: C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\OMA\Sync OMA: C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\OMA\Browse Public: \\.\BackOfficeStorage\mydomain.com\Public Folders

Well internal connections from Outlook are made via MAPI..external connections using Outlook 2007 are via RPC over HTTPS... OWA and OMA are just web so you can set those servicios only as HTTPCapecolMCSA - MCTS Exchange Server 2007 - 2010
