How to configure Outlook 2007 Client to Connect To Outlook Anywhere Configured To Use SSL Authentication
AllI have been asked to test the following. We are wanting to publish our outlook anywhere with ISA 2006 SP1 and have it requrie SSL Certificate Authentication. We have a solid internal PKI from which we already issue user certificates. We see the options in the weblistner where we can tell the ISA to Authenticate via certificate authentication but the issue is that there is no place in outlook to selec the user certificate. So the question is will outlook support this type of authencation when trying to connect to outlook anywhere. If it does how do we enable this on the outlook client.Mike

Hi Mike,That is unsupported on the Outlook client. Please understand that SSL certificate authentication on the ISA only support the access methodsfrom OWA and Microsoft ActiveSync. Thus, Outlook Anywhere is unsupported. For more information, please view the article as below link:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb794751.aspxThanksAllen
