How to configure OWA in exchange 2007 sp2(Server 2008 IIS) for outside access after demoting exchange server 2003????
Folksw
I migrated exchange 2003 to exchange 2007 SP2 with all the roles installed which is running on server 2008, and migrated all the mail boxes public folders and demoted exchange 2003 server from the organization, after this everything works sweet, but
Could you please advise me how to configure OWA to access mails outside the organization over internet. I can access owa within network by using https://ipaddressofexchange2007/owa,
In earlier exchange 2003 server we use to use OWA by using http://mail.domain.com:90/exchange.
Now I want to use owa in exchange 2007 sp2, the link should be https://mail.domain.com:90/owa, how do i achieve this
could you please give me steps to configure default website in server 2008 to access OWA for out side marketing teams,
Thanks

Did you change mail.domain.com with your Exchange 2007 IP address? Why are you using port 90?
Also, you dont need to type /exchange or /owa folder name in the URL. You can enable auto forwarding.
Is it a single server topology? What role are installed on your Ex2007 server?
Here is the good referece article:

Hi,
Did you have ISA in front of your Exchange Server?
Or just map the 90 port to the exchange server from your router?
If you just use OWA, then you can simply change the SSL port to 90.
If you use Outlook etc, then I recommend you to not to change the default port. Since autodiscover,EWS,ExchWeb vitural directories will also use SSL, it cannot automatically add the port number to the URL.
If you have ISA,then I recommend you to publish OWA via ISA.

Thanks for your time
I Fixed the issue,
I dong have ISA ,After reading technet articles and lots of blogs, I recon I have wrongly configured CAS external url and There was a mismatch in SSL port 443, HTTP Redirect,
I fixed the issue and working good " ALL IS WELL"
Steps:
1. CAS>>Owa >> external url https://mail.domain.com/owa
2. configured http redirect: https://mail.domain.com/owa
3. opened port in iis default site >>bindings >> add https port:90 selected selfsigned certificate (I dont have commercial cert)
4.Now yuu are read to access owa from outside : HTTPS://MAIL.DOMAIN.COM:90/OWA
