How to configure Client Access Server for Proxying?
Hi, I'm reading the article "Planning for Client Access Servers " http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/bb232184.aspxand I not understand about "If you have multiple ActiveDirectory sites and want a single external URL for OutlookWebAccessor ExchangeActiveSync, you must configure your Client Access servers for proxying." My question is how to configure my CAS for proxying when ActiveSync,OWA and outlook anywhere client access with different site? I'll appreciate for your any reply!! Jammy-Law

though I have never tried this in either a lab or production environment, the theory is pretty simple. Your CAS should automatically proxy requests it receives provided it is the only server in your domain which has the published url field populated in its OWA site properties. Left Pane| Middle Pane|Lower Middle Pane EMC > Servers > Client Access> Cas_Server_Name> OWA Properties > External URL (this is the fqdn of the published server, e.g. email.domain.com) All other servers should only have their Internal URL's Published. You also need to repeat these steps for the ActiveSync website.

Hi, I am looking to implement the same type of solution. Two Active Directory sites, therefore two Client Access Servers. Users will connect through a single CAS. I am trying to get clarification on exactly how to enable the CAS proxying stuff. Did you manage to get it working properly? Thanks
