How to clear the Exchange 2007 from DC completely?
We are experiencing installing Exchange 2007. Last time we didn't succeed uninstalling the mailbox role of exchange, so we reininstall the OS and install exchange 2007 in another machine, but it seems there is some settings remaining in the DC or AD, some of our tests can find the old exchange. Do you know how to remove old exchange completely?
We are installing ExchangeUM.

Hello Xin,
Proper way to remove Exchange 2007 server from AD is to uninstall it properly.
If uninstall was not successful then you can install a temporary / virtual server, recover a server which was not uninstalled properly, with /recoverserver switch and uninstall it properly. This procedure will remove your server from AD properly.

Thanks Amit.
I have tried /recoverserver install but after that I was prompted it will not be removed because of disaster recovery.
