How to block or delete emails via exchange server, there are lot of spam mails coming in
There are lot of spam mails coming into every mailbox, with fake email acct id using our exchange server domain. Is it possible to verify the emailid is real or not before delivering it to the user. i am receiving almost 20 to 30 mails a day all marketing ____, from outside it looks as is it is originated from our ms exchange server with fake emailacct which is not valid. We are using ms exchange server 2007, hubtransport anti spam is not yet enabled. should we have to enable it to get such a feature? Please, really appreceate for any helpful advice. Can you please tell me where can i find the internalsmtpserver x.x.x.x info on the server: I had to register our external SMTP mail filter using the command Set-Transport Config: set-transportconfig –internalsmtpserver x.x.x.x **************************************** We use something like in all our outlooks to point to exchange server: exchange.domainname.com i can logonto teh exchange server via terminal client and can open ms exchange shell or services area, is it possible to find out the above smtp info? Run: ping -t x.x.x.x and then go into the network closet for the subnet and unplug the cables one at a time until the ping stops working.
