Hi,

I have an excel sheet with the data is in two columns.  

I want the column C should be arranged as per column A.  A primary assumption is that the two columns do not have exactly the same records.

I did try the below formula from one of the solutions to a similar problem posted on this blog:

=MATCH(C1,A:A,False)

Works well only, upon sorting Column C I realized that I do not have the same exact records in both the columns.  Hence need a solution the same.

Did you mean that Column A and C has different data? If yes, please try to upload a sample of raw data and the target data.
