How to allow meeting requests that occur in the past

We have an equipment resource calendar that we use to keep track of usage.  It has delegates that accept the meeting request. The problem is the users would like to allow meeting requests that occur in the past because sometimes they don't put things in in advance, but they want to document the use.  Every time a meeting request is sent with the date in the past:

Your meeting request was declined.
The invitation was declined because it occurred in the past.

I don't see a switch for that in Set-CalendarProcessing.  I honestly don't think it's possible and probably that way by design

I agree, that is why I am asking.  I was hoping someone had run into it before and had figured out some combination of settings that would allow it.

Hi,

Based on my knowledge, there is no method to process meeting request that occurred in the past. It is by default that we can't create meeting requests that occurs in the past.
