Hi,

for installing exchange server in a child domain you need to run the following commandlines on the root domain.

Setup /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms /PrepareSchema and Setup /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms /PrepareAD /OrganizationName:yourOrganizationalname

than run the installation of the exchange server in the child domain, have a look on this website

Hello Chouhan

Exchange Organization is single across forest - so it doesn't matter where you install the Exchange Server
You need to prepare the schema & the domain accordingly

The article will give you a step by step about the installation but it is pretty much straight forward

Hi Kings,

Thank you for your question.

In addition Jorgs suggestion, we should know:

  1. There is a DC in child domain
  2. Join Exchange into child domain

The minimum configuration is that there is DC (include DNS) in child domain.  We could refer to the following link to deploy Exchange in child domain:

https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/exchange/en-US/f9d609d3-a66e-4543-9157-d1eba7ad93e3/how-to-setup-exchange-2010-to-child-domain

If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.

Best Regard,

Jim
