Hi Pierre,

" i don't have the process msosync.exe in my current user registry hive Run." - Which registry key are you referfing to? Can you share the complete registry path?

The Office Upload Center is automatically installed as part of Microsoft Office starting with Office 2010. You can find the shortcut from the Start menu (or the Start screen if you are using Windows 8 or later).

If you cannot find the Upload Center shortcut, please go to the installation directory of Office 2010 and see if you can find the following *.EXE files:

 • C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\MSOUC.EXE
 • C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\MSOSYNC.EXE

Double click MSOUC.EXE and see if you can enable the Upload Center.

Note, the path to the file might be different if you've changed the default installation location.

Hello Ethan,

Thanks for your help.

The registry key is located here :

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Run

And you're right. I got the Upload Center in the Start Menu.

So for make a summary, i found 2 scenarios:

- a.) Some computers have the registry key.

-b.) Some computers don't have the registry key.

But all have the Upload Center in the start menu.

So i don't understand how and why the Msosync.exe come in the registry on the first scenario.

For what i see, if you don't have the registry key, the process don't start and you can't use the sync between sharepoint server and the local computer.

Thank you.
