Good day Allen, I have migrated old Exchange Server 2003 to new Exchange Server 2003 with the same versions of Exchange and with the same version of Windows Server 2003, I have move all the Mailboxes thru Exchange Manager by selecting all of each Mailbox on Mailboxes area then right click it, then choose "Exchange Task..." then move it to the new Exchange Server 2003, successfully move, but when I check the Event Viewer on the new Exchange Server 2003 at Application I have see this Error Event ID 8277 Source: MSExchangeFBPublish with the error message of "Error while getting sorted message table for duplicate message deletion on virtual machine <name>. The error number is <error code>." I have already disabled all the Exchange Services at the old Exchange Server, but I have leave it installed the Exchange Server at the old Exchange Server to be able to have me a spare Exchange Server as for Backup if I will encounter problem on my new Exchange Server on future. My question is I think this is related with the another Exchange Server is present that's why on my new Exchange Server getting this said Error 8277 MSExchangeFBPublish, or do I need to do something to clear this out, is this a conflict, I have modified the RUS, and also Exchange Policy and it was set or configured to my new Exchange Server. Any related links, informations, suggestions, recommendations it will be a great help. Thanks in Advance and Regards, Cheers,

Good day Allen, I have successfully moved all the Mailboxes, I already update the RUS with corresponding or new Exchange Server and Domain Controller but I have never or forgotten to move also the "System Folders" from Old Exchange Server to New Exchange Server which consist of the following: 1.) Schedule+ Free/Busy 2.) Offline Address Book 3.) Organizational Forms Added to be included for the change as follows below: 1.) "Offline Address List Server" @ "Recipients", "Offline Address List" from Old Exchange Server to New Exchange Server. 2.) "Routing Group Master" @ "Administrative Group", "First Administrative Groups", "Routing Groups", "First Routing Groups", "Members" you will see the list of Members with "Name" and "Server Type", then if you migrate it to the new Exchange Server point it to then "Set as Master" which is previously the type before as a Member. You can now uninstall the Old Exchange Server on the other Server Box, hope this will be the guides and things to remember with all the guys out there when Migrating Exchange Server Box to New Exchange Server Box. Regarding on the said Exchange Error found at Event Viewer Under Application thru Windows Server 2003 I will observed if this will resolved the said error. Thanks and Regards, Cheers...

Good day Allen, The said error generate on the New Exchange Server Box, the error is MSExchangeFBPublish 8277 found on Event Viewer under Application which I already identified the cause this is the "System Folders" which you will have to move also from Old Exchange Server Box to New Exchange Server Box which is related to the "Schedule+ Free/Busy" Service, "Offline Address Book", and "Organizational Forms". This will be a guide out there when Migrating Exchange Server. Thanks and Regards, Cheers...

Hi,Glad to hear that the issue is resolved by self.Indeed, the LegacyExchangeDN is not changed when migrating the Exchange server within the same organization. Thus, the legacy client will still use the original LegacyExchangeDN to locate the Free/Busy information in Public Folder. To move all the Public Folder contents can avoid the OAB and Free/Busy error.ThanksAllen

Good day Allen, Yes, because nobody or even my self I cannot identify what is the really is the Event ID 8277 MSExchangeFBPublish what is the exactly causing this problem, I have a lot of research which the one given me with other forum that you should put the fix IP Address at New Exchange Server Box IIS at Exchange OWA it should not be blank or "All assigned" which I found this is not the resolution for the said error, now that I have identified that this is the moving of "System Folders" with regards to the "Replication" by its services you should transfer or change it to the New Exchange Server Box at the "Replication" Tab area of each properties of "System Folders" as well of course on the Routing Group you should "Set To Master" for the New Exchange Server Box, and also find out if there is any users or mailboxes left at Old Exchange Server Box so that you can Uninstall the Exchange Server System at the Old Exchange Server Box. Hope this thread or my thread will served as guide out there when Migrating Exchange Server 2003 to same Exchange Server 2003. I have advance question regarding this workaround or resolution that I have made, Is this is the same workaround or resolution when Migrating Exchange Server 2003 to Exchange Server 2007 because for now I haven't try or to upgrade it to Exchange Server 2007. Because I want to make sure before I will present it to the Management for the upgrade I already prepared for this workaround for migration and upgrade to Exchange Server 2007 or it may be Exchange Server 2010. Can you give me a links to read in order me to prepared, suggestions, recommendations it will be a great help. Thanks in Advance and Regards, Cheers...
