Also please help me in understanding how the F/B will flow between these two versions of exchange. Thanks,Thanks, Sitaram www.sitaram-pamarthi.com

In Exchange 2007, it uses availability service when mailboxes are being access by outlook 2003, while in Exchange 2003, it uses PFs to store free/busy info so refer below article to understand which method will be used toretrievefree/busy when you have both version of Exchange and multiple version of outlook.... What does Exchange 2007 Availability Service do? http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2006/10/23/429296.aspxAmit Tank | MVP Exchange Server | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

Amit has given the link to make you understand how F/B will flow between these two versions of exchange. In your case if you want mbx's on both servers should see the free/busy then you need to replicate the Free Busy information from ex2003 to ex2007 this is the same System folder replication what we use to do in ex2000 or ex2003 servers. Open Exchange 2003 System Manager. 2. Scroll to Administrative Groups and Folders 3. Right click Public Folders - View System Folders 4. Expand Schedule + Free Busy 5. You should see Free Busy subfolders starting with EX: Right click each one properties, replication tab. Add your Exchange 2007 server. Let it replicate and check 15-30 minutes.
