How redirect outlook client to use new OAB url (Another Exc. Server)
Hi, we recently made a new OAB with a generation server and the web-based distribution servers for our site, but outlook users are still pointing to OAB url of the other site (I made the test with ctrl+right click on the outlook client icon and select "Test Email Auto Configuration"), I would like to know what are the steps to be sure that outlook clients are pointing to the new OAB url. thanks for any suggestions.

Hi Ed, Thanks for your reply, but I already check that the OAB url is well configured. Regards.

That's where it's configured. You might want to check again. Check it on all CAS servers.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Yes, I'm checking now an the CAS servers but I don't see any error on the OAB url even on the server that clients are connecting. I already tried rebooting the ME System Attendant service on the OAB generation server, and the ME File Distribution on the CAS servers, without success. Regards.

I'm also searching if the issue is related to the Autodiscover service. Regards.

Autodiscover gets these settings from where I told you. You can run Outlook's Test E-mail Autoconfiguration feature (Ctrl + click the Outlook icon in the system tray) to see what's being returned by Autodiscover.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Hi Ed, Yes I use Test E-mail Autoconfiguration feature to see whar's being returned by Autodiscover, there is where I see the clients are geting the OAB from the CAS server from the other site, insted of the CAS servers on our site, the strange thing is that the rest of the features the outlook clients get them from the CAS servers on our site.
