How many mail comes & goes-out from my Exchange Server 2007 in a Month/Day/Hour?
Dear AllMy senior management wanted to know how many mail comes to my mail server and how many mail goes-out from my mail server in last month and last day. They wanted to know the rate per hour. My configuration is:->CAS + HAB in Exchange Server 2007 SP1 STD in Win2K8STD->Mailbox(2 Node CCR Cluster)in Exchange 2007 SP1 ENT in Win2K8ENT->Edge in Exchange 2007 SP1 in STD in Win2K8STDneed help !!!RgdsBari

There isn't any direct way, every mail transaction is stored into message tracking log so you need to grab the information from it. Refer below similar thread for different ways and links available for Exchange 2007... Hi,Besides, I think you may try to use System Center Operation Managers 2007 to monitor the outgoing and incoming mail on Mailbox.In Exchange 2007 MP, we have several reports on message delivered and received Exchange2007 Mailbox Messages Delivered Report which shows the number of messages delivered to the selected Exchange2007 Mailbox servers over time.Exchange2007 SMTP Messages Sent report which shows the number of messages sent by the selected Exchange2007 Mailbox servers to the transport over time. Exchange2007 SMTP Messages Received Report which shows the number of SMTP messages received by the selected Exchange2007 Hub or Edge Transport servers over time. Exchange2007 SMTP Messages Sent Report which shows the number of SMTP messages sent by the selected Exchange2007 Hub or Edge Transport servers to the transport over time. Well, Log Parser and Process Tracking log tool are pretty simple and given examples in below links. It doesn't harm anything, it just scan the message tracking log and display the result...
