How does recurring calendar entries displays in Room Mailbox in exchange
Hi Team, I would like to know how many entries will be created in Room Mailbox when a user creates a Recurring meeting request in Exchange. Generally in Lotus notes when a user creates recurring meeting for 10 days it will show 10 different meeting, so how many entries will it show in Exchange 2007 Resource Mailbox. Thanks in advance.Nagaraj N

Here is an interesting article on Resource Mailboxes. http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2007/05/14/3402515.aspx As far as how things are viewed it is the same as in Lotus. As far as space I can't say for Lotus, but for Microsoft it depends on how the meeting is setup. If you setup one meeting that reoccurs the space is only one entry. If you modify the entry for a specific date it will create a second entry taking up more space. It's along the same lines as email going to Exchange. If the email is sent to a DL then it's only one copy of the email. I recall having an Exchange Server DB get really big because of a plan to save everything to a PST file then copy it back to the server. In that case each email took up space.David Jenkins
