How does Quickstep Always Move Messages in this Conversation Work?

Hi,

2. Select a email
3. Click on the Quickstep that I just created.
4. The email is move to "My Folder".

Then what's next? This seems like the same as the Move action. What is the diffe

Hi,

If you create this Quickstep and perform the steps above, then all the messages in this conversation will be moved to the target folder; While the "Move" action only moves a single message to the target folder.

Hi Melon,

But it says "Always move", then does this mean after I click, it will always move emails even new ones or it will only move whatever is in my mailbox currently?

Hi,

Based on my test result, only existing messages are moved to the target folder, new ones are not moved. This should be by design.

Anyway, if you have turned on the conversation view in Outlook, you should be able to see all messages in a conversation no matter in which folder the messages are.
