How do you revert a Custom Filter on a DDG back to a precanned filter?
I was experimenting with some custom filters for one of my Exchange 2007 Dynamic Distribution Groups and see that once you do that the Exchange Management Console GUI won't let you edit the filter anymore. How can you revert back to the point where you can edit the filters using the GUI? I am not sure what the default settings were for the Recipients filters.

You should be able to do something such as: Set-DynamicDistributionGroup -Identity "Group Here" -RecipientFilter $null You can check out the other parameters here so you can further tweak what options you want configured for your group: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123796.aspx MVP | MCSE:M | MCITP: Enterprise Messaging Administrator | MCTS: OCS + Voice Specialization | http://www.shudnow.net

Hi,Filter and condition settings for dynamic distribution groups that have custom recipient filters can be managed only by using the Exchange Management Shell. If you want to use GUI to manage DDG, you can only use precanned filters.More details, How to View Members of a Dynamic Distribution Grouphttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232019.aspxFrank Wang
