How do we prevent users accessing their mails from mulitple clients at same time?

Hi All

Is there any way to restrict the user login to one apart from Exchange Active Sync at any time in Exchange 2010 SP3 on- premises version.

Would like to restrict the user to login from any one of the clients at a time

Either from his Outlook or from Outlook Web App (not both at same time) and we dont want to restrict this access by disabling these features in Mailbox.

We want to allow them to access from any client. However the user should be able to login and access mail from only one client.

Is this possible to achieve?

Appreciate your thoughts.

Hi,

This kind of conditional access is not able to allocate for the mailboxes as per my thought

You could implement device quarantining and force your IT Staff to manually approve each user's device.

I don't think that is possible. You can limit max concurrency per protocol with client throttling, but that isn't what you really are asking.

Why the need to do this?
