Remove the database first and then remove the storage group. You have to cleanup the files manually. Mike Crowley A+, Network+, Security+, MCT, MCSE, MCTS, MCITP: Enterprise Administrator / Messaging Administrator

System Attendant Mailbox should be taken care by Exchange server and it will be moved automatically to next available mailbox database... :)Amit Tank | MVP Exchange Server | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

Ok, now ive moved all mailbox, then dismount the database, suspend the First Storage group in exchange, restart information storage service and system attendant service... all is ok until now, someone recommend me wait just few days with the storage suspend and database dismount, for operational reasons to see if i have any incident with exchange. What do you think about this steps. Thanks a lot.Fabian

HI, Check Event viewer if there any errors related for Databases. Then run EXBPA to check any issues on exchange. If doesnt show any issues you can remove old SG.RegardsChinthaka

hi, i think that all is ok, i've followed this step 0. i've moved all mailbox to the new storage group and database. 1. Dismount daabase in the First Storage Group. 2. Sunpend the First Storage Group. 3. For security reasons i've keep this situation for 2 days and reviewing the evento log and i dont see anything... all is ok 4. I've removed the database in the fisrt storage group and next remove the suspended first storage group 5. Romove the file in the partition and all is ok until now. in my environment with CCR all is ok ... thanks a lot for you help. Fabian
