How do email items get archived from original Inbox to Personal Archive inbox?

Let say i have a folder called "important", and in this folder, i have stuff that i always view. When the email items in the "important" folder become expired and move to the archived, will it also create an "important" folder for me in archive and organize it the way i have it in inbox?

If not, is there a way to accomplish this?

Thanks for your time :)

Messages are moved to the Archive either manually (clicking and dragging to the Archive Mailbox) or by using Retention Policies and Tags.

The Archive Mailbox mirrors the Primary Mailbox, so if you have custom folders within the Mailbox to organize messages, these folders will be reflected in the Archive Mailbox as well.

Is there an article you can refer me to about archive inbox mirroring folders from primary inbox on moved items?

There is no Option to Mirror ( having the same copy of emails both in primary and archive mailbox)

Please refer this link for more information on Archiving in Exchange 2013

I will have a read, but do you know if archiving will create same folder as primary inbox for organizing?

An excerpt from this TechNet article: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd979800(v=exchg.150).aspx#moving

"Messages are moved to a folder in the archive mailbox that has the same name as the source folder in the primary mailbox. If a folder with the same name doesn't exist in the archive mailbox, its created when the Managed Folder Assistant moves a message. Re-creating the same folder hierarchy in the archive mailbox allows users to find messages easily."
