How do I share Exchange Global Address List (GAL) across different forests without using federated services

We have two domains in separate forests, One forest has Exchange 2013 server, how do we get a constantly up to date Global Address list of users from the "Other" forest?

A few possible solutions:

1. Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager (FIM)

2. 3rd party product like GalSync

3. Write some script to do export and import
