How do I set up a shared calendar for a Group in Exchange 2003
We are running Exchange server 2003. I would like to set up a shared calendar for a group of users to put their meetings, etc in but I am unsure of how to do this. Also i would like the calendar to maybe able to update from their own calendars.

Natively, updating from the user's own calendar isn't possible.
A group calendar is easily done - either as a mailbox or a public folder.
Otherwise you will have to look at third party tools, which can aggregate the calendar data for you. Lots of options for that. Look from Symprex is one that comes to mind, there are many others.

If they cannot update from their own calendars would they have to put their own calendar issues in as a seperate entry. Also if I were to go about setting one up in
the public folders, could you tell me where a good guide is.
Thanks

There is no need for any kind of guide. You simply create the public folder in the usual way through Outlook, choosing to create a Calendar folder rather than the default mail folder. All other public folder management is identical when it comes to setting
permissions.
Unless you make it a sackable offence not to update the calendar, you are almost certainly not going to have complete information. If you want that information in a central point, a third party tool that can display the information from the personal calendars
is the only option for you that will provide information you can depend on.
