How do I send/receive emails from External clients/domains from Exchange 2010?
If you don't have the time, then I suggest that you get a consultant in to look at the server. That way you can be sure the server is secure to be exposed to the internet and configured in an optimum way. You need a static IP address, and control over your external domain. I have instructions on setting up the DNS for inbound email here: http://exchange.sembee.info/network/dnsconfig.asp For outbound email you need a Send Connector. You may already have one, which should work. Simon. Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources | In the UK? Hire Me.

Hello everyone I hope you all doing well.. I need to ask question from experts here and my scenario as below.. I have one Domain Controller in my organization and I also have installed Exchange Server 2010 in my medium sized company. My Exchange works very fine and it is use for an Internal mail system. Now I'm told by Boss that he needs to send/receive emails to or from external domain/clients. Can someone guide me briefly step by step that how can I configure my Mail server to send/receive mails from outside world? Like how to configure "MX records and pointing this to where, configure connectors etc etc" Please I really don't have enough time. I gone through with CBT's videos and visited website but no one clearly mentioned how to perfrom that. So please help me on this issue! Thanks
