Database Size on the Exchange 2010 Server is not restrcited. Please be clear about what is broken and why did we think about increasing the size of the PF Store? is it that we are not able to post any message over few MB? Then it could be the setting on the Database on the Exchange Server. check what is configured for the Size related settings on the Database Properties. ______________________________________________________ Pavan ~ ( Exchange Support | 2003/2007/2010) ~Mark this if Useful

The limit on database size in 2010 Standard edition is 1TB. To go beyond that, see this: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232092.aspx There's no practical limit to the size of databases in the Enterprise edition. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

I have created a public folder to contain old company emails. The 'Use database quota defaults is unchecked in the properties of the Default Public Folder and the new public folder that I have created. When I attempt to import more data into the folder, I receive this warning message "Cannot move items, the store has reached its maximum size" IT consultant

It appears to be definitely some issues with the Storage Limits. Though you have it unchecked, it appears like something is definitely having a hook against the size of the content that is being pushed to the Public Folders so, i suspect that there could be an issue with attributes {mDBOverhardQuotalimit & mDBOverQuotaLimit on the PF Database}; Refer to the link below and i hope that will work for you! http://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/Server_Software/Email_Servers/Exchange/Q_23428259.html ______________________________________________________ Pavan ~ ( Exchange Support | 2003/2007/2010) ~Mark this if Helpful

You can use the Set-PublicFolder cmdlet to set the attributes of public folders. The MaxItemSize parameter specifies the maximum size for posted items. Items larger than the value of the MaxItemSize parameter are rejected. In addition, herere some tips for configure the Public Folder Replication in Exchange Server 2010. Hope helps.Noya Lau TechNet Community Support
