I am usinghttp://mail.x.com/exchange/ from my office. I am signed on to a network using Active Directory. In the past, it appeared that OWA used AD to go directly to my account so I could see my mail and folders just by typeing the URL above. One day, I decided to look at mail in a different account. Now, whenever I start OWA, I go to this other account by default. To get to my account, I have to type in http://mail.x.com/exchange/MyAccount/ and then enter my password in a dialog box. This is annoying. How do I get OWA to use MY account by default again -the one I used to login in the first place?

"please clear your ie cache": I am not positvie what you mean. I went to "Internet Options / General / Browsing History / Delete" and deleted everything. I went to" Internet Options / General / Browsing History / Settings / View Files" to verify everything was deleted. The other id still came up when I went to /exchange/. I hit "Ctrl F5" - still the other id. Just for the heck of it, I searched for the other id in theregistry but could not find it.Any suggestions?

Yes, kind of. I don't "log" into the OWA URL. I log into our network (Active Directory). Later, when I go into IE and type in the OWA URL I am automatically logged into the other account without me doing anything. I do not even know the password of the other account anymore. It must be the same as when I logged in a couple of months ago and it must be stored on my PC somewhere. From Exchange's point of view, it is another user. Actually, it is a generic id used for MS CRM to send mail. This problem only happens on my PC. If I go to any other PC in the building and follow the procedure above, I am automatically taken to my Exchange account.

Hit "Internet" and click "Custome Level'.6. Do you get a FBA(Form Based Authentication) page when you access OWA? If yes then there are some changes that are made on the Exchange Server by your Exchange Administrator. He might have changed the authentication on the IIS.The default authentication in IIS for OWA is Basic+Integrated, where Integrated authentication takes precedence and thus using your Windows Logon Credentials you were able to access OWA.When FBA is enabled, Integrated authentication is disabled and thus you have to enter the credentials manually every time.Also check the stored passwords, by going to Start > Run > Type "Control KeyMgr.dll".
