How do I change the autodiscover address?

Well after reading that 2nd white paper I thought that I was on the wrong track and tried to follow along with the papers recommendations. That was a big mistake so I ended up really messing things up and had to put in a call to Microsoft tech support. After two days on the phone with MS we were able to get the back to where they were before I read that white paper and it turns out that all I had to do was add the server name to the SSL.

This happens only if your CN name in the server SSL (supplied by your global CA like Verisign) was not requested with the Subject Alternative names. The netbios name and the CN in the SSL cert will have a mismatch and will not permit OAB / OOF to function properly. As a workaround, you can use the Set-OutlookProvider command in EMC. I have provided the commands to be executed in EMC below: Syntax: Set-OutlookProvider -Identity EXCH -Server <<CAS SERVER NETBIOS NAME>> -CertPrincipalName <<ExternalUrl>> Eg: Set-OutlookProvider -Identity EXCH -Server CASSERVER -CertPrincipalName mail.abc.com Syntax: Set-OutlookProvider -Identity EXPR -Server <<CAS SERVER NETBIOS NAME>> -CertPrincipalName <<ExternalUrl>> Eg: Set-OutlookProvider -Identity EXPR -Server CASSERVER -CertPrincipalName mail.abc.com Syntax: Set-OutlookProvider -Identity WEB -Server <<CAS SERVER NETBIOS NAME>> -CertPrincipalName <<ExternalUrl>> Eg: Set-OutlookProvider -Identity WEB -Server CASSERVER -CertPrincipalName mail.abc.com -Raj Rajendrakumar_mv@sifycorp.com
