How do I archive and delete unused Contacts?

Hi,

I got a question from one of my customers:

The secretary of a board member has over 23000 contacts in Outlook. This makes search real slow. How do I archive and delete unused Contacts?

This customer uses Outlook 2010 and Exchange 2010.

Any thoughts or solutions?

Create a new contacts folder, move unused contacts to it. Identifying unused contacts is going to be labor intensive though. You can use the modified fields to see which ones haven't been edited in years but that doesn't mean they are unused.

Thx

What type of email account? It should work in all account types except Outlook.com. (Outlook.com only supports 1 contacts folder.)
