How can we find which clients are getting hit with RPC BackOff ?
In our Exchange server, performance monitor, MSExchangeIS, RPC ClientBackoff/sec, we see an average of 15 and a max of 55. How can we determine which specific clients Exchange is telling to slow down ? We have looked here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc540454(EXCHG.80).aspx WIndows server 2008 SP2 Exchange 2007, SP3, RU5 Outlook, OWA, BES, ActiveSync, etc. -- Throttle RPC client backoff Thanks. ==== ==

Thanks for the information. I have taken an initial look at that TechNet article. We have looked at some of those performance counters, disk, etc. As you say, it is hard to find the client computer. I assume Exchange knows the client, so I wish Exchange would tell us the client in an easy-to-use format. Maybe a record in the Event logs. Thanks. =====
