How can we change the colour of the 'selected' and/or 'mouseover' line? (Outlook 2013)

Hello

I am new to Outlook2013. I am using the dark grey theme.

When looking at a list of emails, I find it extremely confusing that the  mouseover colour - which is very pale blue - is almost the same colour as the "selected line".

Is there any way for us to change either of these colours?

Hi,

Do you mean the background color in the following screenshot:

If this is the case, I'm afraid there is no option available to change this.

Yes there are two very similar shades of blue - one for the selected line and one for where the mouse happens to be. If you are saying that there is no option to change this then I am absolutely appalled but the lack of usability.

Who is responsible for this?

Thanks.  It is deeply worrying that Microsoft can release software with such an obvious usability flaw.

However I find it even more jaw-dropping that there is no work-around on offer.
