How can I set where the Exchange 2010 DAG replicas are stored?
Hello,
From http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd979802.aspx
"All copies of a database use the same path on each server containing a copy. The database and log file paths for a database copy on each Mailbox server must not conflict with any other database paths".

Thank you for the information. All is working well and I am 10 DBs into my replication. Should have all of them done in about 2 days.Todd Gile Network Engineer SSE, Inc.

I have finished creating my Exchange 2010 environment and just go the DAG up an running and performed a quick test of the replication with the primary DBs for each of my two servers (i have two more servers that will eventually be a CAS and one of them
is acting as the Witness). I want to make sure the the DAG replicas for both DBs and Logs are going to the proper drive letter (in my case E:\ for DBs and F:\ for Logs on my 2nd server) and I am not sure how to make sure this is happening before I mass
replicate all 24 DBs.
Right now the Primary DBs from both MB servers are replicating correctly but they are in the C:\ drive by default. My other DBs from the primary server are going to an E:\ and F:\ drive by design and I need to ensure that the DAG replicas do the same.
thanks.

DAG uses the Same Continuous Asynchronous Replication mode as CCR/SCR. We don't need to Set the location for the Passive Copies as it is a exactly the Replica of the Primary Database Path.
Soon the Replication is enabled, the values specified below are recognized and the path (which is common to active/Passive) will be used while DB/Logs are replicating:
msExchEdbFile:Database File Path
msExchESEParamLogFilePath: Log Folder Path
msExchESEParamLogFilePath: System Path(.chk File location).
An error message is generated when a sub-sequent Drive path is not found on the Target Location. So, there doesn't need to be additional care that we must take to set the target path's for DAG Replicas. For More info Refer to the URL's Below:
