How can I get Exchange to recognize a user by NickName
Currently we have setup all the users in Exchange based on their legal names. Thisworks for 80% of the company but the other 20% of the users have nicknames that they are known by in the company.Example of this would be the following: Legal Name: Clark Arron Griswald Name known by everyone: Arron Griswald The First and Last Name fields are automatically populated by our payroll system and cannot be changed. Given this information the GAL onlyallowsthis user to be displayed by "DisplayName" whichwould show as GRISWALD, CLARKand nobody sending any email to Arronwould never be able to or be to afraid to address the email with Clark if they were unsure. Thus, we do not have the option to see a Nickname field in the GALthat users can search on to find each other by nickname. Is there away in exchange where we can extend the schema to add a "NickName" field and then have the GAL key off that fieldto displayit in the address book? Thanks forany help. Capt
