How can I ensure that the export to pdf function exports what the user can see in word

Our company works with publishing companies, and so we need to be able to export some weird paper sizes to pdf.  For the most part this works fine, however in some cases the word document shows as being on one page, but the pdf is output to 2 pages. As the following processes only use the 1st page of the pdf this means that some of the text put into word is cut off.

Can anyone suggest a way to ensure that the PDF has the same output.

This used to work correctly in word 2010, however in word 2013 the process seems to be slightly different and now fails for some text.

We are using Helvetica 55 Roman (Type 1 PS font)

Hi DragonLord

I doubt this is something you can control using Word's PDF conversion tool, although the folks in the IT Pro forum (TechNet) might have some pointers for you. The object model can't do anything that's not supported in the UI, so best to work this out at the UI-level before you try to code it.

Would you like us to move the question for you?

Hi DragonLord66,

This forum is for developer discussions and questions involving Microsoft Word. Your issue is more related with word product, I will move this thread to the more related forum.

Thanks for your understanding.
