How can I add a second Outlook Web Access Website
How can I add a second Outlook Web Access Website. I already have the Default Web Site which is working. Now I want to add another one to use with a different URL and Certificate. I can not find an Add button or something similar in Exchange Management Console under Server Configuration - Client Access - Outlook Web Access ? Details:We have a working Exchange 2007 environment with a CAL 2007 and a Mailbox Server Exchange 2007.The webmail access is working using https://mail.company.comNow I want to add an additional URL for external users to access the webmail like https://mail.mydomain.comI have created a new Website on IIS and installed a new SSL Cert for this Website. When I try to get access with the browser I receive an error message. Outlook Web Access did not initialize. An event has been logged so that the system administrator can resolve the issue. Please contact technical support for your organization. Outlook Web Access was unable to access the Active Directory configuration settings for virtual directory "OWA" under Web site "MyDomain". Any idea? Thanks

You would create a new OWA virtual directory using the New-OWAVirtualDirectory command. you would name it something different like second owa SF - MCITP:EMA, MCTS

Hi,Do you want to have a public URL for users to access mailbox from internet??Or just want to have another URL to access OWA??If you want to have a public URL,then I think you may have public domain name and point it to your CAS server. Thus internal users also can use the public URL to access OWA mailbox. If you want to have a another URL to access OWA,then I think you can create a forward lookup zone and also point to your CAS server.Regards,Xiu

And URL can be used like https://mail.mydomain.com which is not required Certificate or https. I hope this is a good answer This is a for owa cmdlet New-OwaVirtualDirectory -WebsiteName "mail.mydomain.com" New-EcpVirtualDirectory -WebsiteName "mail.mydomain.com"
