How Do I Hide Email Addresses in History

Hi all,

Good evening. I have a question about using Outlook 2013.

Before, when I click Reply All in Outlook, sender and recipients in message body are like this:

Bill Gates;Hugo Smith;Henry Silhavy

But now, when I click Reply All, the recipients became like this:

Bill Gates<Bill.Gates@ms.com>;Hugo Smith<Hugo.Smith@ms.com>;Henry Silhavy<Henry.Silhavy@ms.com>

Sometimes I don't wanna show the email addresses, how do I set my Outlook?

Thank you.

Hello,

Yes, you can.

To do so: Open MS Outlook >> Click on Contacts Button >> Select any Contact which you want to hide email address >> Type recipients,Undisclosed in File as Option >> Give desired name in Display as Option >> Click on Save & Close Button.

Note: Sometimes it will show email address along with name just because it picks cached data.

Hi Clark,

Thank you for answering, but it doesn't work for me.

When I reply an email, the sender and other recipients become part of message body, I want to hide the email address in the body, not from, to, cc, bcc fields.

I use the AD global address book, not local. On Outlook 2007/2010, the email addresses won't show, but on Outlook 2013, they appeared.
