Hiding Groups...
Hi,
Actually I want that some groups like sales, marketing etc that contains all the members of our organisation, are hidden from all the users except 2-3 users who have the rights to send mails to these groups. I am using exchange 2007 server. Is it possible and if yes then how.
Thanks.

You cannot hide distribution group membership in Exchange 2007: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd577075(EXCHG.80).aspx
However, there might be a workaround (i never tried it): http://exchangepedia.com/blog/2007/11/how-to-hide-distribution-group.html

Yes, create a dynamic distribution group instead as mentioned in the link given by Elie...Amit Tank

Hi,
I am not asking for hiding group membership. I am asking for hiding the group itself from some users and showing to other ones. Is it possible.
Thanks.

Hi, Thanks Elie and Amit. I know this method but actually we have already created and populated the groups. So I need any solution by which I can acheive this without changing the group structure. But i think that its not possible as per your reply. Thanks for all your help. Thanks
