Hide users from GAL but show him in the self designed address lists
Hello community,I hope this is the correct forum, I was not sure where to put this.Anyways. At a customer I have several accounts where the customer does not want to list them in the GAL because some users would be "irretated" from some entries. Usually I would just hide them via the option at the Exchange Management. The problem is that I can not use this user for mail rules or security rights on mailboxes anymore, because I can not choose this user out of the list. What I would like is that the user is hidden from the global address list but he is shown in a special created address list. Is this possible? What I did so far, I added a new address list which contains users with a special extension attribute. I would like to see this user there but not in the default address list. The default address list is the default address bock for the most users.

If the user is hidden, then you really have 2 choices:1. Unhide it temporarily to be able to choose that mailbox from the GA, then re-hide.2. Enter the legacyExchangeDN of the account and it should find it even if it is hidden.
