Help with exchange query
I Have two ous in active directory lets say ou a and b. Within these containers are ous for users and also distribution lists. Within exchange 2003 I have 2 mailbox stores which relate to the two ous (a and b) I've setup address lists for the 2 mail stores and have set them to query by"mailboxes in this mailbox store" within the address list properties. This works as expected and I can only see the users that are listed in the relevant mailbox store. The problem is, there are also distribution lists, and I want them to be only visible depending on what OU container they are in within active directory, but when I create the distribution list, I don't get the option to select which mailbox store I want theDistribution listto go so the distribution list can be seen in both address lists that I've created for the mailbox stores. Is there any way to narraw the query so that users and distribution lists for OU a are in address list a and users and distribution lists for ou b are only in address list b? Many thanks

I've figured it out myself. I added the line (!mail=*@company.com) into the global address book search. Now my 2 global address lists that I have for the different companys using the same server, comes out as expected.
