Help with duplicate messages in Exchange 2007
Hi Our environment is Exchange 2007 SP1 and Outlook 2007 SP2 clients. A user, john@company.com, is saying that he is getting duplicate messages from some (internal) users. No one else has reported this problem. I asked for an example which he gave me: Sender: jane@company.comRecipient: john@company.comMessagesubject: Hi! I checked Exchange Message Tracking, and only one message was sent by Jane to John today. The message had the same messageid and also there was only one RECEIVE and one DELIVER event. So the duplication is not happening at the sender's Outlook. Any ideas on where to go now? Thanks for any pointers.

HiPlease check the email through your OWA and confirm whether it is duplicate. And then check the rules on the recipient's outlook client, and confirm that no duplicate rules for the sender. Also, make sure no two email accounts are setup on the client. Finally, you could check the two email ID, if they same, the issue would be on the client; if they are different, the issue would be on the server. And then we could do more research regarding to your issue. The Message-ID is the same>And then we could do more research regarding to your issue.
