Help with OPATH, EAP, AL etc....
Seems MS has put us in OPATH hell ! First we learn how to write ldap queries.. now we get something even less powerful and get to try to convert everything to OPATH. So.. my question is this.. in 2003 EAP and AL I used LegacyDN to create address lists and EAP ... which to be honest wasnt very good either since what I really wanted was to apply EAP based on domain membership (AD domains). We have multiple domains hosted on one exchange server .. each domain gets a different SMTP address. So.. now I'm trying to get OPATH to do this.. no luck at ALL ! I have tried MemberOfGroup but that doesnt seem to work with anything but a static group .. I tried creating a Query Based Distribution Group that returns all Mailboxes, Dist, Contacts etc.. for a specific domain.. then using that group in the OPATH filter.. but it doesnt seem to work... (btw.. I have applied SP1 to E2K7) Any ideas would be very much appreciated.,.. I see that MemberOfGroup does work for Static groups .. as I can use something like: get-recipient -RecipientpreviewFilter{(MemberofGroup -eq CN=MyStaticGroup,OU=ExchangeGroups,DC=domain,DC=com")} and it returns the members of the group ... but a QBDG does not ...
