Help with Microsoft Office home and student edition 2007 activation
Hey, I bought a laptop and it came with Microsoft Office Home and Student Edition 2007 already installed on it. Shortsightedly, I didn't keep much of the other stuff that came with the laptop, and then about thirty days after I have been using it, it tells me I need activation/product keys for me to continue using Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and the others! I cannot find my codes, but isn't there some way I can still get to use them? Maybe apply for new codes or something? I paid for the laptop and the program is legit, so I don't want to lose it. Thanks for you help

Well as you said that the Office 2007 came along with the laptop when you bought it, so its a trial edition.Generally its a 90 days trial of Office 2007 Home and Student Edition/Standard Edition that most of the laptop manufacturers pack along with the laptop. There are no codes with it, unless you have purchased Office along with the laptop. So you can use Office Suite for 90 days without any issue and if you like the product then purchase it, to continue using it, else you may uninstall it.After 90 days the Office Suite goes into RFM (Reduced Functionality Mode), which mean you wont be able to edit/create the file, but you can view them.So at this moment, if you have not bought office 2007 along with the laptop, and you want to use it further, then you would have to purchase it. You can also purchase it online from http://office.microsoft.com

You can contact the laptops vendor to confirm the edition Also, I'd like to recommend you to contact Microsoft Customer Support Service (CSS) for assistance about it If you are outside the US please see regional support phone numbers
