Help installing exchange 2k7 on windows 2k8 srv
Hello everyone. I am trying to install exchange and during the test before install, all parts fail stating: "The Exchange Organization does not support this Exchange Version." Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! Does not seem to be a common issue because researching does not bring anything up. Thanks.

Have you prepaire schema and domain correctly before E2k7 installation. Its looking that AD is not ready to accept new Exchange.Anil

Yes, make sure that the source you are using to install Exchange is with SP1 or SP2 because Windows 2008 requires minimum Exchange 2007 SP1 to install...Amit Tank | MVP Exchange Server | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

Agree, and please also make sure Windows 2008 you mentionedhere is not Windows 2008 R2. Exchange 2007 (both SP1 and SP2) is not supported to run with Windows Server 2008 R2 as the base OS. http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2009/09/21/452567.aspx

I assume you are running Exchange 2003 in you environment??? Have you changed your Exchange org from Mixed to Native? I also recommend that you run the Exchange BPA. It will tell you why you can't currently upgrade to Exchange 2007.

I think you are trying to install 64bit exchange 2007 on 32 bit windows 2008 DC/GC org then it would be the case...make sure you have 64 bit windows 2008 or check vise verse.....you can't install 64 bit exchange on 32 bit OS.
