Okay, I'm no computer geek. This is the second time that my laptop had updated with Windows Security Updates and it will NOT connect to the internet via web browser. I can interact through the IM but when I try to get to an online site it won't connect. It says that it had "pinged" the host and had not received a response back. The individual who had solved the problem the first time is not available anymore and it looks like I got to do it myself this time. I had uninstalled the update and it hadn't solved the problem. That's what I had done the last time to connect. Now I can't even reinstall the update. Help? Please?
