Help Changing IP address on Exchange 2000
We are having problems with our emails reaching some customers. I fear that our IP address has been blocked as a range of IP addresses. I have a static I address with the ability to change our IP address to another static IP address. I would like to change our IP address for our exchange mail. Our server is operating under ISA. Currently our hosting is forwarding our mail to our IP address. I know I will need to change that as well. I have got to find a way to change our IP from being blocked. I have tried at not cost by contact specific ISP's but have not gotten any reply. Any help you could provide on how to change my ip address for my exchange server would be greatly appreciated.

You can use the following website (among many others) to check if your IP is being included on RBLs:http://mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspxIf you are listed on RBLs you'll need to contact the RBL administrators (they should all have contact information listed). If you are on any RBLs you don't have to change your incoming mail record (MX) you just need to modify your outbound e-mail address and ensure that there is a PTR record for your sending mail domain.
