Help - my new iPhone 6's Mail app receives my Roadrunner emails, but Outlook 2007 doesn't, anymore!

I wanted all my Roadrunner email account emails to continue to land in my Windows 7 PC's Outlook 2007 email program's inbox, but also have a copy come to my new iPhone 6's Email App.  I set up the Apple Email account correctly; it now receives all my Roadrunner emails. But now, they are no longer received by Outlook. I have set my Outlook account to 'leave a copy on the server for 10 days' but this doesn't help.

The goal is to continue to use Outlook to manage all emails, but also be able to receive, read, delete and forward COPIES from my iPhone when I'm out and about.

Thanks, Karl - on further examination, the iphone email account is, by default, an IMAP account; I don't recall when I set it up, being given a choice between POP and IMAP (what's the difference?)  On the iPhone, I can't find any option to 'leave a copy on the server'.  The only option I find there,  is one involving when to remove deleted messages (it's set to 'Remove after one week').  Lacking a solution, I'm keeping the iPhone's email program switch turned OFF most of the time...I don't know if it's even possible to move iPhone emails back to Outlook; if I forward them to myself from the iPhone, they'll just come back to the iPhone.  Aah, technology....

Hi,

Karl is definitely right about IMAP and POP3, you can refer to his provided link to learn the difference between IMAP and POP3.

In short, IMAP makes messages available on each device you use, it "syncs". POP3 downloads messages from the mail server to one device so we may not find the messages on other devices.

In your scenario I would also let you check the account type on iPhone, but as you said it's IMAP, I suggest you logon the webmail to check whether all messages are available there. If all emails are still available on webmail but in Outlook you can't see them, we will consider it as a download issue then. You need to pay attention to the error message or code on Outlook client and make sure the connection is good.

Many thanks for all suggestions. Not sure why, but as of the following AM, emails were arriving on both the PC (outlook) and iPhone, as well as in Roadrunner webmail, as desired.  Seems as though the 'issue' somehow mysteriously resolved itself.
